Augment reality is not working on mobile?

Hi,

I tried Augmented reality button via mobile but it seams that sometimes it is not working. I received text processing model for AR experience, but nothing happens after that.

The interesting thing is that it work for some scene sometimes, but not always. (for example at this moment, I have problem with viewing this scene in AR: Wall 6 - DDC-make: Arch-tech solutions ) Also some scene works on mobile after receiving QR code from desktop PC.

Do you know, why this happen?

Our team will look at the model you linked above and investigate why AR is not working in this case.

Hello @Bojan_T

On which kind of device does this happen for you?
Does it also happen when you try AR directly via the platform?

Cheers, Michael

Hi Michael,

It happens on different android mobile phones (I didn’t try on iPhone) released in 2021 or newer. I’ve just tried the same model both on ShapeDiver platform and my website and it worked today morning, but now I tried again (the same scene, same mobile phone) it worked via shapediver platform, but not via my website…

Hello @Bojan_T,

I was able to reproduce this issue once on your website. There I got the error in the console Navigation is blocked. As I don’t get this issue on the platform, it seems to me that this might have to do with the setup of your website. Is there anything that might influence this behavior?

Cheers, Michael

Hi Michael,

I am not web developer, so I don’t know what might cause this Navigation is blocked error. I do not know, it this info might helps: my website is developed via Wordpress Elementor tools.

Hello @Bojan_T,

as this seems to be a blocking behavior from the Wordpress Elementor tools, please reach out to the Wordpress support to resolve this issue. From our side everything seems to be configured correctly.

Cheers, Michael

Hi,

I have new problem with Augment Reality funcionality. It seams that it doesn’t work on some mobile devices. I tried with Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 ( release date september 2023) After clicking on AR button, I was directed to Google Play Service for AR. The same issue happen on ShapeDiver platform.

Hi @Bojan_T , some Android devices do not support AR. You can find here a complete list of the supported devices: Dispositivos com suporte ao ARCore  |  Google for Developers

At ShapeDiver, we provide the file format that is required for AR, but the user needs to make sure the mobile device supports AR.
