Next to all modeling commands. There are barley any tutorials and instructions about the UI. How to adjust it, how to take the settings from the school comptuer to the home device. In a simple way! For non computer-affine people.

Explain in an illustrated easy way the difference between .RUI, .RHC, .ini, .template (hatches, annotation, LineStyle, displaymodes)

A simple overview what is bound to a Document what is bound to the Programm.

This is the part of Rhino that gets super difficult for most Students even if they like Rhino.

Hi All,
As industrial designer and teacher, I usually have to explain how to model complex forms, so I started creating some videos for my students showing some workflows I suggest.
Most of the examples are typical cases that show a good process that are not evident for new rhino users.

I changed all the icons that have a flyout to remove their RMB command.
This way, a right-click opens the toolbar instantly. I find this much faster.

Well, everyone prefers their own way of command input. Personally, I find it more convenient and quick to have access to two alternative commands on a single icon, using a single mouse click. I don’t mind holding down a mouse button for a brief moment to get access to the extra icons it consists. :slight_smile:

Paragraphs with ID

@KelvinC - are you the right person ? this should be a easy tweak if there is a nice template mechanism in the background.

the html of the help is not nice, there should be paragraph ids:
for example

I use command names as bookmarks. They are case sensitive. It will work if you use

https://docs.mcneel.com/rhino/8/help/en-us/commands/subd_symmetry_commands.htm#Reflect

Or you can use

https://docs.mcneel.com/rhino/8/help/en-us/commands/reflect.htm
(The command names must be in lowercase.)

You can also highlight any text in the topic, right-click, and select Copy link to highlight.

ok great - thanks for pointing out:

the jumpt to Paragraph / Fragment #Reflect must be first character uppercase.
the R is important. (my lazyness - i tried #reflect and gave up).

addressing the command reflect.htm
