Assigning material to surfaces of a Sub-D model

Hello all,

I’m trying to assign a material to a specific surface of a Sub-D model. I can Shift-Click to pick individual surfaces on the NURBS model and assign different materials but I cannot on a Sub-D model, the assign material option is greyed out. IS this possible?

Hi Dave -

Not yet, but it’s currently on the list for Rhino 8.0 - RH-56446 SubD objects don’t support sub object materials
