Excuse me, I want to ask, is there a feature or tool in Rhino to order object B to follow object A without having to put the two objects together in one group/block. similar to Record History, but I am constrained if I am faced with a condition that requires object B to undergo a change/edit/shift in location (break history), then I want object B to be able to follow object A again, wherever it goes. (only following location changes without anything else)
Hi Zaky -
The answer still stays the same as in your previous thread on this topic.
In native Rhino, grouping is the only way to do this.

Hi @bro-jack
Why is grouping the two a problem? If you want to edit object B or its position (whether it’s text or geometry), simply use shift+ctrl to select the object inside the group (without un-grouping) or temporarily ungroup, edit the object and then re-group them. What problem are you trying to solve?

okay thnk u sir,
thnk u sir, sorry for my question.
Hi @bro-jack
Don’t be sorry! Never be sorry about asking questions! I was just trying to find out why grouping the objects doesn’t work for you? Is it too cumbersome to keep track of the groups, is it annoying to have to group/ungroup all the time or is it something else completely? It sounded to me like editing the object inside the group was the problem - which could be solved by using ctrl+shift to select inside the group (without ungrouping), but again: You don’t really specify what problem you are trying to solve (and why grouping isn’t working for you)
