Array by scale between two polysurfaces

Hello, beginner rhino user here trying out commands. I have these 2 polysurfaces, and I want to connect them so going from bottom up, the surfaces are regressing and meet with the top polysrf. I’m not sure what the term is for this, but maybe array by scale? Thank you.

Hi @user1653, is loft what you are after?

I think loft connects only the edges. I want to extract the wireframe/polysrf so they get repeated vertically upwards as they regress in size to meet with the top polysrf. Basically like floors of a building.

Wait I realized I can just loft the edges and use contour to slice them. Thank you!

Hi @user1653 ,

I’m pretty sure there’s a way to get the “stepped” contours from a single command without slicing/intersecting but honestly I use Grasshopper way more than Rhino and am not familiar with a lot of Rhino commands.

One other thing that’s helpful is you can run the command “extractisocurve” and in your example if you choose Direction=V you can select any point along your form and get a “slice” at that location for as many times as you want.

EDIT:

I think this command is better for you.
