Arrange spheres along a surface. And want it to look like hammered

Hi. Happy New Year! And Help me!

Even though the spheres are arranged along a regular surface, when they are joined together they no longer fit along the surface.
I want to know how to solve this problem.

Are there other ways to make diamond panels, or is there an easier way to make them?

If you want to go fast, you can use a cellular noise texture, it is like 3D Voronoi (3 components from Nautilus plugin) [image] [image] But you’ll need a high detailled mesh

Yes.thank you for teaching me.
But I want to create some sphere. And I should not be used mesh srf.
It should be created with surface models only.
Because I’m in trouble.

Hammered Surface Texture - Reduce Depth/Seamless Join

Hello World, I am struggling to reduce the depth of the hammered texture once I use the surface morph to wrap the dimpled texture around my target surface. I am trying to figure out how to make the dimples on the surface shallower and then have them join so it is as close to seamless as possible, but I am stuck at this point. You could internalize the geometry in your GH file, skipping the Rhino 6 file issue. And provide a screen shot at 100% standard size so the subtract and multiply components can be replaced. I gave it a try for about a week.

I tried several different methods and decided to create the shape as shown in the attached file.

I’m sure there’s a smarter way to do this, but…

If you have some time, Joseph, would you mind taking a look at my data?

I feel like I could also apply the data Joseph shared with me, if they weren’t random variables…
