ARTC DAMA (Digital Arts & Manufacturing Academy) has organized an Architectural Fabrication Course, directed by Paolo Cascone / COdesignLab.

The first of its kind in Italy, this course responds to the increasing demand of an educational program able to bridge advanced design, digital fabrication, and self-construction for an ecological architecture.

The experimentation with natural materials and digital manufacturing processes is the center of the construction strategies with the aim to generate environmental performances and energy saving benefits.

The course is structured as a multi disciplinary laboratory matching theoretical lessons and making sessions. The final purpose is to design and build a scale 1/1 off grid dwelling totally self-fabricated. The course will include standard teaching modules, digital fabrication, and self-construction sessions.

The course is limited to 10 participants. Students will be selected based on the resume / portfolio and order of arrival of requests. The fee will have a 10% discount for the first 5 enrolled students by April 21.
