ApplyEdgeSoftening makes different result

Hi…,

I have here two objects in this file ApplyEdgeSoftening_Rhino_5_SR7_problem_edge_size_different.3dm (344.7 KB) where my customer used ApplyEdgeSoftening with value 5, the size of the optical fillet results are completly different here in Rhino 5 SR7.

Any ideas?

Not in front of a PC at the moment but if I recall correctly, the latest SR fixed the command - larger numbers didn’t used to make a difference…

Yes this is a known behavior. It will change in the next SR. (8)
