Apply Shutlining and/or Edge Softening effect to VA Doors

Hi,

I’m looking for the proper way to apply ShutLining/Edge Softening effect to VisualArq 3 (demo) objects. Especially Double Hinged Door where the two leaves meet at the middle. I want V-Ray to render the shut line or softening the door edges to show there are two door leaves.

I clicked at the icons “Shutlining and/or Edge Softening” found in the RENDER TOOLS tab. Then select the VA Door objects. It prompted me to select sub categories. I did try them all one by one then render testing each option. None of the effects show up in the render results.

Hi @jvic you can try to subtract a solid from the door leaves edges to get that shut line visible in renders.
Or you can trick the style by adding a new leaf with a very tiny width. You can set its visibility to Hidden, so you should see the gap in render views:
