I want to have a detail showing the model perspective matching the pictureframe photo.
Is there a way see the model “over” the picture wich is in layout space?

Ok, got it.
Nothing like posting a question to immediately figure out the answer 
If you put the picture in model space then create a detail to it you can then send that detail to the bottom.
Would be nice to just be able to send the pictureframe itself though…
Actually…not that good.
When editing the model detail you can’t see the picture, only while in layout mode.
