Now, I don’t have the most spec’d up mac, but my rhino runs completely fine with only a few exceptions. One of those is trying to move anything in layout is a complete pain because it slows and lags, making it difficult to actually control where you’re placing it. This is using either the gumball or move tool. Just quite confusing because I can work on quite complex models in the model space with little issue with lag, but as soon as I’m in layout, the program can’t handle me moving a display port or even some text without lagging. It’s not the end of the world and I am getting by but it feels a bit ropey.
First off wondering if that’s just me, or if anyone else experiences this? and if it’s not a widely experienced issue, is there some way to fix it?
Secondly, if it’s a common issue, maybe requesting in Rhino 9 that it improves!
I’m starting to do 100% of my work in rhino and its layout function - would love for it to be as easy as something like vectorworks some day.
