# Annotation style issue again?

The definition works in Rhino 8 but in Rhino 9 always bakes with Arial font. I’m confused.

Rhino 9 WIP fails to cache the text with the correct font:

It is fairly confusing:

Grasshopper shows SLF-RHN font but Rhino displays with Arial

I opened your file in Rhino 8 and it works as expected.

Yes. It seems to bake everything with Arial

So, in the example I sent the font is correct, but the size changes from the preview. One reason for the size change is that the layout and modelspace scaling was turned on. This means when added to the document, the zoom factor and scaling is added.

Unchecking these two properties puts an end to that:

On my end the font of the text in Rhino is not correct. In Grasshopper it shows the correct font.

The size is not a problem.

I tried this on my laptop where I have 9.0.25329.12305 installed and the result is the same. The previous installation 9.0.25324.06305 shows the same issue. The cached text entity and leader is using Arial instead of SLF-RHN Architect.

Hi Martin,

I see this too, in R9 GH is always baking with Arial, regardless of the Annotation Style settings, even though the Preview shows correct font:
