Animation with transparent background

Hey there rhino community.

I would like to make an animation with a transparent background so I can put a film backgound behind it.
Is this possible - does the png format work once it has been encoded.?

Any idea to start would be useful

It is something that is being worked on. It isn’t yet possible, but soon(ish) it should be.

For compositing I’d stick to image sequences instead of encoding them to a video container.
