There are certain offsets and when the model is blocked so that it does not move, I see that the anchor still does not remain fixed, it tends to move a little when moving with the iPad in the site and it is out of phase in the frame, also when putting it in rendered AR mode it ends up in AR wireframe mode, it should be noted that I put a single gray material and with transparency on the entire model to be able to view with a certain transparency.
I’m afraid we don’t have much control over the precision of the AR placement relative to the real world. Are you seeing better results with other iOS apps?
AR rendered mode should display the material that you’ve assigned. Can you tell me the version of the app you’re using? Also if you can share tue model that’ll help me track down the issue.
BTW, how are you anchoring the model in iRhino? Are you using the AR Marker ? Is the scaling and the orientation of the model relatively correct or do you have to manually modify things in iRhino?
To investigate the Rendered display mode problem you’re seeing I would need the file (or a simplified file that shows the same problem). You can upload it here: https://www.rhino3d.com/upload
I anchor it manually, I use a corner of the building as a reference and I align it with the model, I just have to rotate it (3d navigation - free orbit) and lock it. I don’t use AR maker.
Btw I uploaded the model.
Can you try updating to the latest version 8.12.24231 (11.2.1) and see if that fixes it.
One more thing you can try is to reset your display mode. To do that, Change your display mode to Rendered and toggle the AR switch, then go to Settings > Display > Restore to defaults
Or just delete the app (and all of its data) and reinstall it
