Anchor Plate GH definition

I’ve been wanting to build a def that simplifies making anchor plates. This tangle has gotten me close, but all my flailing with “graft” and “flatten” and “simplify” isn’t getting me to clean geometry at the end. Any suggestions?

Not bad.
Two things I would add to make it work every time:

  1. Region difference for subtracting holes from main plate
  2. Merge all faces for cleaner geometry

Aha! That makes perfect sense - thanks, Piotr!

The main problem is that four corner holes are duplicated. Yellow group avoids that.

NIce, much cleaner. I realized there were overlapping circles, but couldn’t get Cull to work for me; I had the order of operations all wrong. Thanks for helping, Joseph!

Took me awhile to figure that out! Cull duplicate points before Circle. (why use Circle CNR?)

Just pure, unadulterated ignorance.

Humble ignorance can easily be fixed! :+1:
Belligerent ignorance, on the other hand, is hopeless and sad.
