Hi @Japhy ,
When I analyze the curtain wall grids, I see that the grid lines give a strange output. Can you check what is causing the problem?
I sent the revit file to tech support.
Regards.

Sure thing, i’ll take a look. What Revit & Rhino version are you running?
Rhino.Inside Revit: 1.18.8797.15011 (2024-02-01T08:20:22)
Rhino: 7.36.23346.16351 (Rhino 7)
Revit: 2024.1.10 (24.1.10.25)
CLR: 4.0.30319.42000 (4.8.9181.0)
OS: Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.22631.0
The gridlines come out as expected, its the attempt at generating Cells that are distorted, that might be expected on Curtain Systems by Face on complex geometry. I’ll dig around a bit more in that regard. The underlying surfaces look ok.
The curtain cell geometry planarized results are expected, i think the curve output is the UV interpretation of the underlying surface. Is there a particular workflow that you are attempting with the Cells?
I did too the first time connecting, then it clear up.
Just tried replicate by opening the unsaved Revit file you provided and was unsuccessful
things started to get more strange for me. When I flatten the curve input the error disappears, some curves appear but the result is still different from yours.
I’m seeing the same lines, the image above also was referencing the underlying mass, which accounts for the extra lines you are referring to.
Planarized curves output will work for now (I would prefer the curves output to give a clean result.)
Yet, there are some deviations at some points.
I also noticed that the curve and custom preview outputs are displayed differently in the viewport.
Yes, the Curtain Systems on non-planar geometry are creating bad geometry.
Not sure if this is just how the Cells are in Curtain Systems based on complex geometry or something we related to the translation. Looking into it.
Hi, What is this plugin?
Its a free plugin provided by McNeel and Associates that allow you to run Rhino inside of Revit.
No, I mean the Curtain Systems, I cannot find it on Food4Rhino.
Curtain Systems are Revit Elements.
