I am having an issue with Rhino 8 Beta. the “always pan parallel views” sometimes turns itself on when I’m switching between views. Usually going in to the setting menu and unchecking the box turns it off again but not always. In which case I have to close and reopen Rhino 8

Do you use the Auto CPlane?
Yes. Does this conflict with orbiting in parallel?
The Auto CPlane automatically turns that on when you select something in a parallel view and turns back off when the CPlane returns to the original orientation. This is so when you right click and drag the view doesn’t rotate and instead pans. It’s supposed to make using the Auto CPlane in plan views easier. The issue is here and I implemented that behavior awhile ago. I don’t know if it’s working right and just confusing you or if there’s a bug you found.
Ah okay. Makes sense. I’ll keep playing with it.
