I’m using Mac Beta 5.0 rhino.
Please can you tell me how I can export an image file / JPEG from my model using alpha channels?

I always seem to have a background in the file
anyone found a way of getting a transparent image.

Check the Transparent Background option in the Render Properties available in the Render drop down menu. Then save as PNG. Jpeg doesn’t use an alpha channel.
