Allchin Tractor - Detail Images

More renderings of my Allchin Tractor showing more detail.. For a size reference, the rear wheels of the tractor are 18 inches in diameter and the overall length of the tractor and water wagon is 71 inches..

really lovely work… what are the plans for this, 3d prints? more renders?

Most likely more renders. There are over 1,700 parts in the tractor and 500 or so parts in the water wagon making 3d printing somewhat of a logistical nightmare. Plus, that’s a lot of printing

I do want to add a table with a table cloth in the scene. Give it more of a model show display vibe.

Any suggestion are welcome.

no notes… keep going with this wonderful project!

Thank !

Great work, I love the attention to detail in this model. The brass (?) material could use some love I find. It looks a bit too yellow, even slightly greenish, a little warmer and less saturated will make that material more realistic.

Amazing work. More please!

Outstanding!

Any improvement in the brass color?

Thanks !

The adjusted color is certainly better imo. Try experimenting with a tad less saturation/reflection as well.

Sounds good, thanks.

Really beautiful work. It took a lot of coffee or beers to make that lovely model. It is an amazing example of the power of Rhino.

Thanks !

A few more Allchin model pictures. Pictures of the Allchin Company logo (not my creation, I don’t know who made the graphic I used), the engine cylinder block and the front axle assembly.

Beautiful looking render and machine. I’ve a real fondness for steam powered machines, I did a little digging for Allchin after seeing this post, but there doesn’t appear to be a lot of information out there sadly

Thanks ! I live an easy drive from the Powerland Heritage Museum in Brooks, Oregon. They have a great collection of working steam tractors that they get up and running several times a year. Pretty fun to go to and experience.

The Allchins are similar to the Burrell steam tractors. Also, try looking up the Allchin tractor “Royal Chester”. It was a “show” tractor.

maybe make it a VR asset, so you can enjoy it in real size in immersive environment

That’s an intriguing idea, thanks.

The brass looks great now!
A tiny bit of edge softening on the hard edges will give you even better renderings.
