I’m not seeing that here. Can you reproduce that in a new file from a factory-default template using the fonts and styles without modifications?
Also, please provide the SystemInfo data.

Your GPU drivers somehow got messed up. You should probably do a clean install of the newest drivers to get this on the road again.

I have done the factory reset again.
It doesn’t help. Strangely, the objects with Sun looks darker than without it.
Meanwhile V7 works as expected and is recognising all video card capabilities.

I’m not sure if I’m understanding that correctly. When you run SystemInfo in Rhino 8, is it giving you a different result than when you run it in Rhino 7?

Strange.
A minute ago, when I was writing the report to you I couldn’t see any text and I couldn’t set antialiasing.
Suddenly it started working again and I have done nothing to make it work (not restarting or creating new file).
There is another small issue:
There is a seam visible but tangents are off.
