@Nosaj one other thing, was this a nested block? And if so, which level were you making edits in?
I think it was ZSA,but i can’t really remember,which is probably not very helpful.

I have a file with the same problem in a saved state where you can close the block editor and everything disappears.
I am trying to send the file but it won’t upload for smoe reason,It’s in 7z format.

Yes this has just happened to me! while editing a newly copied layout from a1 to a3 it disappeared and then the original disappeared too.
Weirdly when i print the layouts to pdf they print, but i cant edit them as there is nothing visible.
