Aligning vertices in an orthogonal view with the “To Line” option snaps them to the line - is there also a view-based option? Pascal’s script only works on CVs of NURBS surfaces.
Looks like Align tool with the To Plane option, then selecting the start and end points of the string of edges or vertices to be aligned, does the job in the Top, Front, and Right windows without affecting the third axis.
