How to use the Data Input and Data Output components.(Params>Util)

Hello everybody. I’m new to this community. Today,I updated the latest Rhino6.1((6.1.18023.13161, 2018/01/23)),and I found two new components ,Data Input and Data Output.(Params>Util) What are these components?(I can’t understand how to use these components.) And these components use ghdata file.(Not gh file) Can anyone tell me how to use these components? Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards, Masaki

Can Two GrassHopper definitions communicate?

Since this is something I was planning anyway for GH2, I wrote a very simplistic implementation using standard components for GH1 in Rhino 6.0 (ignore the audio, didn’t realise the screen capture software was also recording Harmontown that was playing on my other screen).
