AI Image generation for Visualization

Hi,

I’m fairly new to AI image generation and curious how architects are integrating it into their workflows today.

Are you using Rhino plugins connected to image generation tools? ComfyUI / Nanobanana / what else? Do you need to prepare your 3D models in a specific way to get good results?

Also curious about the cost side — which tools are worth paying for, and what do monthly limits actually look like in practice?

Any recommendations welcome.

I use:

To enhance render quality and short animations https://mnml.ai/
To enhance render quality https://gemini.google.com/app or Nano Banana inside Ps
To explore possible designs https://www.midjourney.com/
For short code to automate stuff in Rhino: https://chatgpt.com/
For more robust coding (js stuff) https://code.visualstudio.com/ agent switches between AIs
For 3D from images: https://www.meshy.ai/

Thanks

Someone made a nanobanana plugin for rhino: https://discourse.mcneel.com/t/introducing-rhinobanana-an-ai-visualisation-plugin-for-rhino/214170
