After crash open autosave bug

I have seen this twice now, it’s a bit of an odd scenario though.
Somethimes when Rhino crashes it doesn’t matter, so the autosave isn’t interesting, but sometimes I change my mind in the middle of that decision, thus this odd inconsistency.

If Rhino crashes and I open Rhino again, and I quickly click on the template I want opened, and then when the “Do you want to open the autosave file?” dialog opens I click Yes, THEN Rhino opens that one and immediately opens a new file afterwards.

IMO If Rhino is told to open an autosave file it should ignore and cancel any other commands until that file is opened.

This is on Rhino 7, so if this is still the behaviour for Rhino 9 WIP then please change that

Successfully read file “C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\McNeel\Rhinoceros\7.0\AutoSave\RhinoAutosave.3dm”
Command: -_New
Name of the Rhino template file to open ( None Browse ): “C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\McNeel\Rhinoceros\7.0\Localization\en-US\Template Files\Small Objects - Meters.3dm”
Command: _CommandHistory

i run into this issue too on R7, and its a pita even if it’s only 15 minutes of lost work.

this behavior also happens even if you open the file that crashed by clicking on the file in “recents”
