Just starting to learn mapping color images onto geometry and my first attempt creates a repetitive pattern vs mapping the image over the full geometry. (test image below)
I’m missing something simple here in my understanding on how to map properly.
Maybe my mapping image needs to be much higher resolution or something. In searching on how to do this, I’m drawing a blank in my searches on how to approach the problem.
Appreciate any suggestions as to how to approach this or where to look for this understanding.
