Adding a second Zoo

One of our other facilities is constantly struggling to pull a Rhino license from the server over the VPN. I want to install the Zoo on a system in that building and take a couple licenses from the main Zoo and transfer them to that new Zoo. That way they can pull their licenses internally. I have a couple of questions before I start:

  1. Can I run 2 Zoo’s without any conflicts?
  2. What is the best way to get the existing network installations of Rhino to look at another Zoo?

@dale, I think this question is for you.

1 - Yes.
2 - Install the new Zoo and start it. Then use the Zoo Diagnostics Utility on those workstations to point to the name or IP of the new Zoo.

You can edit the registry so Rhino knows the name of the Zoo server, but the utility makes that pretty simple.
