I hope that the preview option becomes effective for all the tools

It’s on the list marked “Future” with comments about it being very difficult. There’s no point in posting the YT number as it’s limited to Developer view.
I’ll add a link to this thread as a “bump”.

As an alternative and more advance array tool, you can check out the Armadillo plugin.
All arrays have previews for all the adjustments (for past 10 years 
)

Grasshopper is the best option
Sure, it’s the most flexible but I’d say depends on your workflow…
