Hey there @Japhy @kike ,
We are encountering an issue with the Add Component Adaptive node in Rhino.Inside. When attempting to create multiple adaptive families (e.g., 50), none of the families are created if even one fails. Previously, the node would create as many as possible and output a log of the ones that couldn’t be made.
Has anything changed on the backend of the node probably in the last 1 year or so with how the creations are being handled?
Hi Aniket,
I can look into this more tomorrow, can you provide additional details on your environment and the issue? Thanks
Thanks for the quick response, much appreciated!
We’re running it in Revit 2023, Rhino 7, with Rhino.Inside version 1.24.8965.4355.
We’ve tried running it with tracking mode set to Disabled, update enabled, and replace enabled, but it hasn’t made a difference. Changing the error mode to “Continue” or “Skip” also had no effect.
to be clear, is this when you are creating the families or placing instances of the families?
Do you have a small example exhibiting the behavior?
when placing the adaptive panels using “place component - adaptive” node in grasshopper
Can you post a small example of how this is failing for you we can take a look at?
