OK someone tell me where to find the magic checkbox to fix this nonsense.
In the video below there’s a cube on a red layer. The viewport is set to Shaded. When I select the box, it shows the yellow edges (which is correct). But when I do any kind of viewport translation, such as orbiting as shown in the video, the box turns grey. If I deselect the box, it stays grey. If I the reselect, it turns back to red.
Why is the box turning grey!?
Note - this only happens to the selected object. Anything unselected remains the correct colour.

Just a general comment for running Parallels - while still not supported, I’m told that you need to be running SR 14 or above to be able to see any text in a viewport.
