Achieving Smooth Convex Mesh Curvature

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to transform a contour-based mesh into a smooth, convex shell-like structure, as shown in the attached image. While I have the initial mesh from contour lines (left side of the image), I can’t figure out the correct approach or components in Kangaroo to achieve the desired curvature and smooth convexity of the final mesh (right side).

Where I struggle:

  • I’m unsure which Kangaroo goals to use or how to adjust their settings to control smoothness and tension effectively.
  • My current attempts result in uneven or overly rigid surfaces instead of the desired flowing curvature.

Key Question:
What Kangaroo components or workflow would you recommend to achieve a smooth, convex, and tensioned surface similar to the right-side geometry?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or guidance!
