Account no longer working (geometry not showing)

Hi everybody,

I opened an account in 2023 and had some models on it, working perfectly.

Now if I access the model uploaded on that account it does not show any geometry, the shapediver logo and the loading wheel stay there endlessly. I am on windows 11, MS edge. However the same thing happens if I try to open the models from a smartphone (Chrome browser)

I tried to upload a very simple model with just a box and 3 sliders saved from Rhino7’s grasshopper (and uploaded as Rhino 7 backend) and it shows the same issue: test-1d916dcf7e | ShapeDiver

I then signed up for a new account, I uploaded the exact same test model and it works: test-66d9018a46 | ShapeDiver

I also uploaded the old model on the new account and it works, so it seems that the account has been “locked” somehow.

Would it be possible to “rescue” the old account?

EDIT: Not sure if this can help, but the old account had a dot “.” in the username, which is now not allowed anymore. I tried to change the username deleting the dot, logging out and in again, but still same issue.

There was a problem with some old free accounts, due to a change of features we recently implemented for free accounts. This has been fixed, your model should work again.
