AABB of Block Instances Without Their Hidden Geometries?

Hi,

I’m inserting a few Rhino files as block instances into another Rhino file. Now when computing the AABB of those blocks, it creates the box for all geometry objects of the block instance, even those not visible?

In my case, I kinda expected Rhino to ignore all construction and reference geometries on separate, hidden layers (cf. below).

It seems to take the larger, deep green circle into account, which as mentioned above, I hid before calling the command.

Is this expected, normal behaviour?

Thanks.

(By the way, I’m only trying to get the bounding box for the lower, grey object.)
