Hello! I am just starting out teaching myself parametric modeling - no prior experience and my math is incredibly rusty which has been making this so hard lol.

I’m struggling to create a series of squares with shrinking cut outs in them. My current approach is to make a series of cutouts to remove from the main geometry with BooleanDifference after baking. I have been struggling to center the cutoff geometry. I’m sure there’s

I’ve offset the internal cutouts and highlighted the geometry I’ll be cutting from in green.

Does “in them” mean your shorter rectangles should still fall exactly _within_ the original (longer) rectangles?

Yes! right in the center of the larger squares - like a pyramid with steps.
