Block Edit New is the best plug-in for Rhino, and just one of the many brilliant things it does is to place a floating button palette near where you are actually working:
I see that McNeel is experimenting a bit with floating button palettes in the WIP as well:
So is there a plug-in which takes all of the different command line options for all tools in Rhino and places them as similar list of buttons close to where your mouse pointer is?
For me, this would save me a couple of kilometers of mouse movement (and RSI) a week probably…
EDIT: Oh, and before anyone says “use keyboard shortcuts”, my left hand is on the space mouse and if I’m going to be extremely picky, a “visual search” (ie the distance my eyes have to travel to find what I’m looking for according to keystroke analysis) is a waste of my time as well.
