is there a way to link an object to a file of the parent folder of the active Rhino project so that it won’t be broken when moved to other directories or shared with other devices? (something other than for example: (file://C:/…)
i think you want to make relative path. i have familiar with such thing in 3ds max. but as i find in the forum, this issue is on the wishlist- Worksessions & relative paths.
Maybe the issue get resolved for rhino 7 & 8.
Moved to Rhino for Windows category.
I have this python script in Grasshopper Rhino 8.
It outputs the user path and concatenates it with a folder name.
