5 edge surface

Hello Everybody,

I have to create a smooth G2 srf between the following sections :

However, I dont manage to do so… I have tried multiple subdivisions to create 4 edge contours, and multiple commands like pats, sweep2, … but nothing seems to give me a nice and clean srf.

The strange thing is that I have managed before (with a RHINO8WIP version) and the result is the following :

However, I need to change the size and this redraw it…

Does somebody know how to do this? Is the patch command more limited (WIP9) then before (WIP8)?

The red original is quite wobbly (Zebra, Emap) and does not flow too well, likely because the “botch” surface tool was used. In my opinion, I’d rather use classic surface modelling approaches/tools, if simplicity and quality are required (which may not be needed here).

This would be a typical patch layout approach for the “rear” part.

Somewhat similar, an approach for the “front” part. It depends very much on the “take off” point.
