3DS export very slow

3DS export taking very long time for some seemingly simple model files.
Using Rhino 7
A problem file attached. It has 376 surfaces and takes about 20 mins to write the 3DS file, making the work I need to do unfeasible.
heat loss envelope L03 to L06 tester 01.3dm (1.8 MB)

I don’t think it is the meshing step, as when manually mesh the model, this works fine and quickly.
Hope someone can advise on how to speed up / fix.
Regards

Hi -

Exporting this to 3DS takes less than 2 seconds on my system.
Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the output here.

@h_pochee - are you saving to a local drive, or to a remote/network/shared drive?

Is Rhino “slow” saving other like formats (e.g. STL, OBJ)?
