3Dconnexion problems with latest driver 10.9.2

I updated my 3Dconnexion driver from 10.9.1.650 to 10.9.2 last night.

Unfortunately Rhino 9 WIP did not use the same cfg file as it did before the update to the new driver. It’s annoying and I don’t know what to do?

Of course I can just continue to use the old driver…

3Dconnexion support sent me a link to a Rhino youtrack which I’m not sure if it’s related. The youtrack seems to be about a Rhino mac issue.

https://mcneel.myjetbrains.com/youtrack/issue/RH-82156

3Dconnexion tested Rhino Version 7 and 8. Both versions are supported officially. On a demo computer our team tested Rhino 9 WIP. McNeel would first have to integrate the 3Dconnexion products. They are tracking the lack of integration for 3Dconnexion in their new software version in an internal bug report RH-82156. We provide a free SDK (Software Development Kit) for them to easily integrate 3Dconnexion functionality. If an app isn’t listed as supported, check the developer’s website or contact their customer service to request 3Dconnexion support. The more users who ask, the higher the priority it becomes!

3Dconnexion support wrote I need to get in touch with McNeel customer service. I’ve been using Rhino 9 WIP successfully with my 3Dconnexion devices on driver 10.9.1.650 and I don’t know whether something is lacking in Rhino? At the moment it seems to be the opposite…

Hi Martin, when I open the WIP with windows and before the updated 3D connexcion , the behavior on mine was working the opposite as it should. Pull acted as push. All the other movements worked just the opposite. I never work in the WIP because of those reasons. I did update the other day and should try it again to see if anything changed.
I mostly still work in V7 and tried something the other day. In the 3D connexcion menu , I put “always show “ . Actually made it work a bit better as far as navigation. —-Mark

I’m not worried about the direction of the orbit.

My issue is that the customized cfg file is not recognized in Rhino 9 WIP after the driver update.
