3DConnexion Mouse - Loading hang-up & doesn't always work

Anyone else having this problem? It takes a number of minutes SOMETIMES for Rhino to open a new file, saying “Loading 3DConnexion plugin”

And sometimes my 3D Mouse doesn’t work. Even if I plug it in.

Are you running their current driver?

I’m actually running 10-5-8, which is newer than the 10-5-6 in the article

There is now 10-5-10. Any info on how this is working with newest Rhino, before I take the plunge?

Not that I know of.
I don’t use a space mouse.
Maybe another use will chime in.

Old thread, but yes, I’m experiencing the same issue (extremely slow load) with latest version of Rhino 6.
It just started happening to me today, after years of working with this same computer setup.

hey @gruedisueli - I had done some updates and it has worked since back then.
But I’m in RH7, so that’s probably of little use. Hope you get it taken care of soon.

It appears that it might have had to do something with connectivity. My 3d mouse actually had stopped responding but was plugged into machine and LED was on. I had changed USB ports a few times during the past day or so of working and maybe the system was confused. Restarting computer resolved issue.
