So the decor should look very luxury

what s the production process ? what kind of wood is it?
some cnc-milling and then a lot of hand wood carving ?

and…

Hello dear Tom.
Thank you…
After the 3D modeling of the design is done, I give the wood cutting template for each piece to the carpenter, and I also give the files of those pieces to the CNC operator to determine the machining strategy for each piece in software like Power Mill. In Iran, 2 mm diameter milling cutter is usually used. Some CNC operators also use 1 mm diameter milling cutters, which of course takes longer to complete the work, but gives better results. CNC machines are usually 4-axis and are mostly made of beech wood. Walnut wood is rarely used, which is of course much more expensive and luxurious. After CNC, A carver works on the parts to achieve better result, in the next stage, the carpenter assembles the parts to form the coil, after this coil is painted and in the final stage the mattress and fabric work is carried out.
I have experienced various sports, I was a wrestler, I climbed most of the famous peaks of my country Iran, I did canyoning which was very exciting and I also did some rock climbing until last year when I unfortunately broke my elbow and had to give up this sport. Gym is my passion and my profile picture is also about training people for canyoneering.

thanks for those great insights.

It s such a pity that Iran is not considered as a easy and save place to travel at the moment - i always wanted to visit the country - i hope the hole region will become more peaceful soon.

all the best for the recovery of the elbow. kind regards from ZĂźrich / Switzerland. Tom

Dear Tom, if you ever want to visit Iran, be sure to message me. I have been traveling to almost every part of Iran for about 12 years and I can show you places that few Iranians have seen. The most important feature of Iran is its four seasons, and in addition to beautiful historical monuments, it has amazing Nature.

This craft is very challenging

Yes dear friend, you are right, especially if they use a 1 mm diameter cutter, of course, to be more precise, they are 1.2 mm diameter cutters, which are very fragile, so the speed of the machine changes according to the machining strategy, and since wood CNC machines usually have several spindles, 8 or 10 or 12 spindles, if the cutter breaks one or two of these spindles during operation,Because they are so delicate, the operator usually doesn’t notice them and a very clear line is left on the wood that the carver must remove.

See it from the positive side, be glad it’s not stainless steel because there would be more broken things than the tool and materials

Man if there is one material I hate and I mean really really disliked is acid resistant stainless steel

Chernobyl levels of disasters this is the one thing I don’t miss with cnc :joy:

I also have experience working with steel and designing plastic injection molds and die castings, so I understand your feelings very well. :slightly_smiling_face:
One thing that may be interesting to others is that when mulberry wood is wrapped around a CNC machine to make a Tar instrument, an Iranian instrument, and machining begins, this wood has a really nice smell, and it is really enjoyable.
