2D rectangles (curves) from database of dimensions?

Is there a way to automatically draw 2D rectangles (curves) from a database list (in Excel) of dimensions (length and width)? Thanks.

Hello - you can do that from a csv file, with a bit of scripting, and you might want to look into Grasshopper and the LunchBox plug-in - I believe that thing can see an Excel file.
