2D geometry challenge

I’m sure there is a good way to do this but I’m struggling to work out what it is!

Without changing it’s orientation, I want to move the blue rectangle so that its long axis precisely intersects with the two angled lines. I’ve eyeballed the magenta rectangle into position but I want to be able to do this precisely using snapping.

Many TIA

  1. Move (or copy) the blue rectangle to the end of the left line
  2. Copy the left line to the other end of the long side of the rectangle
  3. Copy the blue rectangle from the far corner to the intersection of the right line and the copied left line.

Many thanks @Helvetosaur. Solution is embarrassingly obvious now you’ve explained it!
