Hi all,
Recently I am starting transfer my workflow to RH6 step by step. In the procedure, I find something interesting:
1.Every time I draw straightly or move something straightly(one directional along axis), I’d like to use short cut combination “SHIFT+TAB”. But once I don’t want to follow the direction, after re-hit TAB key, something wired happen: The cursor turn to be a point on a fixed circular track.

I have no idea if this the something new in V6 I don’t know or some bug or not, but for my experience it is something wrong.

1. SNAP! I used to use a lot snap, of common control point or solid control point. Even sometime in shade view, I cannot see the point behind srf,but I know it here so I still can snap the point(in V5), in V6 I cannot do that anymore(although can move to snap in ghost mode)…It is quiet a big thing for me. This will save tons of time rotating model view to find one can directly see the point.

That’s what I found these few days.

Best,
Pei

Hi Pei - yep, it is new, a circular/rotational tab constraint. - tab once more to go back to ‘normal’.

This is set in Options \> Modeling aids - ‘Snap to occluded objects’ setting.
