Wish Dimension Split

I wish I could use the split command on a dimension string to change 1 dimension string into two or more.

I envisioned it to work just like like the regular split command either by points or by curves that cross it.

This would be a very very useful and timesaving feature. Could this be introduced in Rhino 6.

This could also be done with “insert Point” or “insert knot” similar to the existing (insertknot, inserkink or insertEditpoint).

Be aware that the architects-community with is growing.
