I’m quite new to rhino but have learned how to split normal objects but I’ve imported a 3ds max file which has a meshed surface and I’ve been trying to cut a section off of it, I’ve used meshsplit, selected the object and the cutting object (in my case is a plane) and nothing happens, please respond before I blow my brains over my smashed up computer, thanks.
Hi James - splitting/trimming meshes is not Rhino’s long suit, as you’ve seen, especially if the mesh is not perfect. Can you post your object and the trimmers, or send to tech@mcneel.com?
