for example… say i’m using default shaded display mode… if i change the background color in the right sidebar inspector, the display mode settings themselves have changed… or- if i quit rhino then relaunch to a new model and choose shaded display mode, the color i applied in the other model is now in this one.
it seems like the Preference-> Display Mode settings stay the same and any changes made in the sidebar should be temporary or file specific.
the problem is further magnified by the inability to import/export/backup display modes… or- once changes have been made in the sidebar, there’s no simple way to get back to the original settings of the mode (talking mainly about custom made modes)
