Rendering program for a student

Hi. I’m planning to buy a Rhino for students and a rendering program for it. I’m wondering which one would be the best for a beginner. a price is important!

The cheapest choice is Neon. It’s free for Rhino users.
It’s very simple and, because is interactive, very fast.
The second choice, for me, is V-Ray. A student license cost € 80 per year.
Then many others, Brazil, Arion, Octane, Maxwell, just to nominee some.

Arion for Rhino = 125 €

And wich one has a lot of materials for use? Because, as I understand, every program uses diffrent textures?

I think I’ll buy Flamingo nxt or Brazil because of their commercial use. But now I don’t know which one? What’s the difference between them? I looked at gallery and renders from both programs looks pretty awesome.

and there is a bundle Rhino/Flamingo/Penguin/Bongo - is it worth?

nXt and Brazil are very different in many respects. The short answer is that Brazil tends to be used by those with rendering experience and knowledge of production rendering techniques. Nxt on the other hand is often used by beginners who don’t have the time to learn a lot about rendering. If you try the Brazil evaluation, I would suggest using it with the Neon plugin… they will both be free. Neon also works with the standard Rhino Renderer.
