Modeling a golf ball

so i sat down to do this project which i thought would be a piece of cake. i made the sphere of the ball and found myself scratching my head after that. i could make a small sphere for a dimple and array it around then do it again and again but then trying to figure out the depth of them into the main sphere to make the dimples all the same size will be a little tough. so my question is…does someone have a better process to do this?

I found this to be an interesting video.

You can create Goldberg Polyhedra by downloading RhinoPolyhedra and then creating one of the Dual Geodesic Icosahedra types.
