Make 2d Interior Perspective

Hello Forum,

I am trying to make 2d from an interior perspective but whenever I do it does not give me complete lines. Although it does show me the viewport boundary. Does anyone know how I can fix this, or know of a way to get interior linework?

Hi Joshua,
You can try Make2D’s options “Show Tangent Lines” and “Show Hidden Line” and see if it helps.
You can direct the lines onto unique layers and turn the layers off so they are not visible.
Otherwise, we really need to see your model.
Can you zip it and send it to tech@mcneel.com so we can give it a try.
Thanks for your help.
Sincerely,
Mary Ann Fugier

Hi Mary,

I found that if you increase the absolute tolerance in the units to something around .00001 and higher it will display the lines.

Thank you!
Josh

Hi Josh,
Thanks so much for the followup.
It would be really helpful if you could test this for us in the beta for Rhino 6.
Are you currently a beta tester for Rhino 6?
If not, I can give you access.

This Make2D command has been extensively improved in the beta.
So we need to know if this issue occurs in the beta, before scheduling improvements.
If there is still problem, I really need to get a file from you, too.

Thanks again for your help.
Sincerely,
Mary Fugier
